I learned a lot about myself and what it takes to be a leader at the three-day conference.  I learned about the roles and responsibilities of a leader and the six domains of leadership—personal, relational, contextual, inspirational, supportive, responsible. These domains relate to our everyday life. I felt honored to represent Coppin state University and bring the knowledge I learned from the conference back to my team.  It was great to learn about the DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness) classic profile system.  The profile system tells you what type of person you are.

Senior Kanishia Sheppard had a team-high five kills, but Morgan State used a balanced offensive attack to defeat Coppin State 25-16, 25-16, 25-8 on Sunday in the Coppin Center in the Eagles home finale.

Coppin State's Dale Dunn earned all-conference honors leading the Eagles to an eighth-place finish at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on Saturday at the Maryland Eastern Shore cross country course.

Led by sophomore Latasha Duncan, Coppin State finished eighth at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on Saturday at the Maryland Eastern Shore cross country course.

Sophomore Salena Weekly had six kills and freshman Christina Epps added five kills, but Coppin State dropped a 25-17, 26-24, 25-21 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference volleyball match to Hampton on Friday in Holland Hall.

Howard completed a season sweep of Coppin State by recording a 25-14, 25-11, 25-15 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over the Eagles on Sunday in Burr Gymnasium.
