NEW YORK -- Coppin State guard Tywain McKee was one of six players that participated in a pre-draft workout for the New York Knicks on Tuesday at the Knicks Westchester compound.
McKee along with Johnny Flynn of Syracuse, Ty Lawson of North Carolina, Dante Cunningham of Villanova, Toney Douglas of Florida State and Leo Lyons of Missouri participated in the workout.
It marked the first pre-draft workout for McKee, although he was scheduled to work out for the Washington Wizards in May but could not attend due to a prior committment.
The Knicks will have the eighth selection of the first round in the upcoming NBA Draft and do not own a second-round pick. New York currently has two point guards on its roster in Chris Duhon and Nate Robinson.
