WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Coppin State bowling team wrapped up the 2012-13 season with its top performance of the year as the Eagles posted a 5-5 record at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Northern Division Tournament hosted by Howard.
The Eagles, who finished the season with a school-record 22 wins, posted a 3-2 record in team match play and a 2-3 record in baker play.
Coppin State recorded two narrow victories in team match play, as the Eagles edged Howard 842-838 and topped Hampton 785-783. CSU also beat Delaware State by a score of 892-840, which marked the Eagles highest pin total in a team match this season.
was Coppin State's top bowler during team play as she knocked down a season-best 910 pins and averaged 182 per game.
In baker play, the Eagles defeated Howard 683-607 and also beat Morgan State by a score of 626-607.
