Peyton Posts Victory for Eagles in Opener Against Robert Morris
October 03, 2011BALTIMORE -- Freshman Roderick Peyton recorded a victory at No. 2 singles in his first match for Coppin State, but the Eagles lost to Robert Morris 6-1 on Friday at the Coppin State tennis courts.
Peyton defeated Andre Coiro 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles to record the Eagles only victory of the day.
Oleksiy Krylchuk appeared on his way to winning at No. 1 singles before Jose Limon pulled off a stunning comeback. Krylchuk won the first set 6-3 and held a 4-1 lead in the second set before Limon came back to win the second set 6-4 and then posted a 10-7 victory in the third set.
Limon also teammed with Coiro to record an 8-6 victory over Krylchuk and Patrick Thomas at No. 1 doubles.
