District of Columbia Blanks Coppin State
April 03, 2011BALTIMORE -- Tomas Gajdusek posted victories at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles and the District of Columbia defeated Coppin State 6-0 on Sunday at the Coppin State Tennis Courts.
Gajdusek defeated James Jeffreys 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and then paired with Bruno Reich to defeat Jeffreys and Justin Hodge 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Reich also won at No. 2 singles as he defeated Quincy Darko 6-2, 6-3.
The Firebirds won all five singles matches and all three doubles matches.
