George Mason Hands Coppin State Defeat
April 14, 2010GLEN BURNIE, Md. -- Craig Richmond and Dan Gleiberman each had two hits, but George Mason used 13 walks and five Coppin State errors to post a 20-3 non-conference victory over the Eagles on Wednesday at the Bachman Complex.
Dan Schaferman had a home run and drove in four runs and Brig Tison drove in three runs to lead George Mason.
The Patriots held a 3-2 lead before scoring 11 times in the top of the fifth inning to break the game open.
Gleiberman and Derek Richards drove in runs for the Eagles. Coppin State also received a base hit from Chris Kashangaki.
