Lafayette Blanks Coppin State in Men's Tennis
March 29, 2008BALTIMORE -- Lafayette lost only nine games on its way to a 7-0 victory over the Coppin State men's tennis team on Saturday at Druid Hill tennis courts.
The Leopards won all four singles matches and both doubles matches that were played. Lafayette also was credited with two singles and one doubles victories due to forfeits.
James Jeffreys suffered his first loss of the season for Coppin State as he dropped a 6-1, 6-2 decision to Eric Wiley at No. 2 singles.
The Eagles dropped to 0-3 on the season with the loss.
