Attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School in Baltimore…played for the Cougars under the direction of head coach Tom Rose…in his two seasons at Mount Carmel helped lead the team to a 43-18 record…Mount Carmel won the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association championship with a 24-5 record in 2005-06…as a senior he averaged 6.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game…was named the teams most improved player following his junior season and was named the unsung hero as a senior.
