NORFOLK, Va. – Michael Murray, Andre Armstrong and Charles Ieans will never forget the final week of their collegiate basketball careers. The three Coppin State seniors helped the Eagles enjoy a memorable finish to the 2013-14 men’s basketball season by crashing the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) semifinals.

Athlete of the week: Alyssa Barker Name: Alyssa Barker
Sport:Softball
Barker won all five of her starts last week while compiling a 1.40 earned run average and striking out 11 batters in 30 innings. She also tossed a pair of shutouts last week against Maryland-Eastern Shore and Howard to help the Eagles complete a 5-2 week. She also had four hits and drove in three runs last week.
