BALTIMORE -- Coppin State dropped a pair of games to Saint Peter's and Fairleigh Dickinson on the final day the Eagles tournament on Sunday at Joe Cannon Stadium.
Saint Peter's defeated Coppin State 4-1 and Fairleigh Dickinson handed the Eagles a 16-6 defeat.
Coppin State dropped to 0-6 on the season with the two losses.
Saint Peter's broke a 1-1 deadlock by scoring three times in the top of the seventh inning keyed by Dan Alexander's two-run single.
Claude Jones helped preserve the victory for the Peacocks with a sparkling defensive play in the bottom of the seventh inning.
