2012 Coppin State Athletic Hall Of Fame Inductees
Dear Coppinites:
This August we are starting our first annual COPPIN "100" Campaign to raise $100,000 for Coppin student- athletes. We are asking 1,000 friends of Coppin State to consider a gift of $100. Through this program, you will have the opportunity to make a donation to the CSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. The money generated through this campaign will assist in providing much needed funds for a wide range of student programs including scholarships, academic support services, text books, and equipment and supplies.
These investments are critical to Coppin State University maintaining its Division I standing, the highest level of intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. We are proud to say that our student-athletes hold some of the highest grade-point averages on campus, with 15 students in the Honors Program, 11 students with a GPA of 4.0 and 77 total students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
As our student-athletes continue to dedicate their time, energy and enthusiasm to compete in the classroom and in sports, we ask for your support by joining the Coppin “100” Campaign. Investors like you make it possible for CSU to produce top student-athletes who will one day become the future COPPIN “100” members after graduation.
