Leon Stewart

Leon Stewart enters his third season as an assistant coach on the Coppin State staff.
Stewart is involved in all phases of coaching with an emphasis on working with the Coppin State outfielders.
Prior to Coppin State, Stewart spent seven years as an assistant coach at Community College Baltimore County-Dundalk. While at Dundalk, the Lions made several appearances in the Region Tournament.
A native of Baltimore, Stewart attended Dunbar High School where he lettered in football, baseball and basketball. He also attended Maryland State.
A veteran of fastpitch softball, Stewart played in the AA Softball League in Baltimore for 13 seasons and he also played in the Eastern Seaboard League.
Stewart has three children, Brian, Marshall and Maurice.
