STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Coppin State's men's 4x400m Relay team of
Martin Owusu-Antwi,
Anija Addison,
Joseph Amoah and
Cheyenne Johnson dominated the event to lead the Eagles at the Fastrack National Invite on Friday at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Winning the event by over three seconds, the Eagles finished in 3:13.67 to rank fourth in the MEAC prior to next weekend's conference championships.
In individual events, Amoah took second overall and was the top collegiate finisher in the 60m Dash (6.76). Addison and Johnson also ran in the 400m Dash and clocked times of 49.74 and 50.20, respectively.
Aaron Lewis also clocked a season-best in the 60m hurdles, finishing fourth in 7.93.
Devin Teagle also clocked a 7.01 in the 60m Dash while
Keshaun Hodges added a top ten performance in the 200m Dash (22.11).
In field events,
Elijah Noel leap 21' 2.75" and 43' 11.25" in the long and triple jumps.
Balvin Richards also tossed the shot put 44' 0.75".
